On November 20, China MCC convened the November 2024 Operations Analysis Conference, at which it deeply analyzed the bottlenecks in the current operations, studied and arranged the key tasks for the end of the year, and made intensified efforts to sprint towards a prosperous year-end at an accelerated pace. Bai Xiaohu, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of MCC Group and China MCC, presided over the conference and delivered a speech; Zou Hongying, Zeng Jianzhong and Zhu Guangxia, Members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice Presidents of MCC Group and China MCC, attended the conference and put forward the specific requirements.
At the conference, it conveyed and studied the spirit of MCC Group at November 2024 Economic Operation Scheduling Meeting and Promotion Meeting for 2025 Production and Operation Plan Compilation and the "15th Five-Year Plan". At the conference, it pointed out that this is currently at the most crucial stage of tackling the annual goals and tasks. All units should have a greater sense of urgency to fully implement the work requirements of MCC Group for "Go all out for 60 days and sprint towards a prosperous year-end" activity, seize all favorable opportunities, make use of all favorable conditions, focus on the goals and hang on, realizing stable growth and high-quality development with solid work and actual achievements.
At the conference, it emphasized that efforts should be unswervingly made to improve the competitiveness, optimize the economic structure and improve the development quality, and expand the economic scale and increase the total economic volume against state-owned capital and enterprises; continuously enhance their core functions and improve their core competitiveness. First, make a concentrated effort on markets and orders. We should make a concentrated effort on markets with "What projects to seek, where to seek them, how to seek them and who will seek them". Second, make every attempt to ensure restoration of positive cash flow. We should intensify efforts in confirming rights and making settlements during the project process, seize the policy opportunities for debt resolution to promote the collection of project payments, implement responsibilities, take all means to focus on reducing the accounts receivable and inventories, strengthen the budget management of project funds, and enhance the control of liquidity risks. Third, accelerate the ongoing transformation and upgrading. We should strengthen the sense of urgency for ongoing transformation and upgrading, identify its sense of direction, and enhance its sense of responsibility. Four, deepen and enhance the comprehensive budget management. We should make concerted efforts to achieve the annual budget goals and tasks, make the budget arrangements of the next year with high standards, deepen and enhance the construction of comprehensive budget management system. Five, persistently strengthen safety and stability maintenance. We should thoroughly study and earnestly apply safety theories, control the "Critical Minority" well, conduct risk prevention and control in a meticulous and practical manner, and make full and proper use of the reward and punishment mechanism.
During the conference, the relevant departments of the headquarters reported on relevant indicators, work progress and arrangements for key tasks. Four units delivered speeches on the implementation of "Go all out for 60 days and sprint towards a prosperous year-end" work, the completion of financial budget indicators, deleveraging and cash flow balance, as well as marketing.
The conference was conducted via an "on-site + video" format. The members of relevant working teams, key principals of departments of the headquarters and subsidiaries, operation teams and others of China MCC attended the conference.
